Don't get me wrong the heavy axe FEELS heavy, but why would i use it when I'm taking more DPS per match from monsters than I am with the machete. The machete is much better at it than the hatchet.

So, for preparing and processing your catch, bring a sharp knife or a kukri. Also, a machete can take off branches or clear saplings with one fell swoop and you don't need to risk swinging the weight of a hatchet at smaller targets.

I guess it all depends on where you are and what you're trying to do. It says that the axe has higher damage than the machete buy why does the machete hit jason's mask off much much easier?
