The Marriott Puerto Vallarta (PV) just completed a huge renovation with everything from rooms to the gorgeous new pool with swim up bar and restaurant. The last time they did a major renovation was back in 2008, we stayed there just as things were finishing. You'll be pampered with a beachfront location, along with the renovated infinity pool and on-site restaurants. "The Pool renovation will not be happening in 2018; on May 7th, 2018 we will start re doing the rooms and that will go on until the beginning of November 2018." The website says July 15th. We ended getting a better deal than usual due to some ongoing work in the hotel, including really cheap room rates and major discounts at the hotel's restaurants, etc. Any advise?
